Giuliano Di Giuseppe performs his music studies at the Conservatories of Pescara, L’Aquila and Pesaro, getting a diploma in chorale music and choir conducting, band instrumentation, composition and orchestra conducting under the guidance of the Maestros M. D’Amico, M. Cardi and N. H. Samale. Afterwards, he specializes at the Chigi Music Academy with M° J. Temirkanov and M° Whun Chung, and at the Pescara Music Academy where he obtains the three-year Diploma in High Specialization under the guidance of M° D. Renzetti. In 1998 he is finalist within the International Competition of Orchestra Conducting in Besancon and at the Masterplayers International Music Competition and Conductor Competition in Lugano. Moreover, in 1999 he is admitted to the “Bottega” by P. Maag at the Treviso Municipal Theatre where he works together with important opera singers like Monica Bacelli, Luciano Di Pasquale, Ildebrando D’Arcangelo, Umberto Chiummo, Natale De Carolis and many others. Since 1998 he has conducted several Italian Orchestras, like the Pescara Symphony Orchestra, the Pesaro Symphony Orchestra, the Marche Chamber Music Orchestra, the Ancona Philharmonic Orchestra, the Abruzzo Symphonic Institution Orchestra and the Marche Philharmonic Orchestra. Moreover, it is worth mentioning his collaborations with prestigious foreigner orchestras, like the Sophia Symphony Orchestra, the Minsk Radio and Television Orchestra, the Lugano Symphony Orchestra, the Cluj Philarmonic Orchestra, the Bacau Symphony Orchestra, the Gangnam Symphony Orchestra, the Byelorussian National Chamber Orchestra, the Besancon Symphony Orchestra, the Miskolc North Hungarian Symphony Orchestra, the Camerata Orchestra “I virtuosi di New York” (The New York Virtuosos), and recently with the Pannon Philarmonic Orchestra. Invited by important music associations in Italy and abroad, he worked with well-known musicians such as, J. Newton, J. Hall, S. Colley, B. Russo, A. Braxton, G. Manzoni, W. Henze, A. Melath, Young – Ok Shin, Woondae Jung and with important actors like S. Lo Monaco, D.Penne, R. Pedicini and L. Maio. In 2002 he wrote and directed the show “Tango Forever”, which enjoyed great favour both from the audience and from the critics and was performed in the most important Italian cities, in cooperation with the Abruzzo Symphonic Orchestra and with the participation of the soloist M. Pitocco; the shooting of the show took place in 2006 in Hungary in cooperation with the Miskolc North Hungarian Symphony Orchestra and the participation of the soloists P. Ruggiero and A. Melath, was so successful that the production is going to be staged again in 2009 in Hungary, in cooperation with the Doghnany Symphony Orchestra. Amongst his record works as a director, noteworthy are the recordings for the Company called AS Disc Ricordi of the Oratorio “Gloria- Moti di Allontanamento”(Gloria- Moving Away Impulses) for soloist, choir and orchestra by G. Scarpone; the recording for the “Stabat Mater” by Pergolesi, for the Estense record company in Ferrara and recently the recording for the contemporary authors’ works cd “Albumblatt n. 2”, in cooperation with the Ensamble “I Fiati dell’Accademia” (Academy Wind Instruments). Besides working as a director, he has always worked as a composer as well; as a matter of fact he is the author of the music written for several important shows like: “Il Grigio” (The Grey) by G. Gaber ,produced in cooperation with the Teatro Stabile Abruzzese (Abruzzo Permanent Theatre), “Maree” (Tides) by G. Mancini, performed at the Cittadella del Carnevale in Viareggio, “Tango d’Amore” (Love Tango) by G. Groppali, with the participation of S. Lo Monaco, for the Versiliana Festival and “Cirano de Bergerac”, performed all over Italy. He is teaching in Conservatory “L. Perosi” of Campobasso.
